Since 2006, a high-resolution camera on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has delighted scientists and space enthusiasts with images of the Red Planet in never-before-seen detail. Outreach coordinator and team member Virginia Gulick, a planetary geologist at NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif., compiled their responses. Click through this slideshow to check out nine of their favorites plus one image that we just think is too cool to escape recognition.
