Description of the Star
Albireo B is a blue B8Ve main sequence star. The spectral type indicates an effective temperature of 12,000 K, a diameter of three times that of the sun and 175 times the sun's luminosity.
The orbit of the B component around A has a period of 7270 years, with an orbital semimajor axis of about 62.90 sec of arc, corresponding to 0.12 ly at the distance of the star.
